What is Secure File Pro and what features are available? SecureFilePro™ provides a secure client file exchange, allowing tax preparers and clients to exchange confidential tax documents securely and conveniently. It is web-based and while it works with most browsers and computers, we recommend using Google Chrome or Firefox.

What types of files can be uploaded to Secure File Pro? Clients can scan W2s, 1099s, and other tax documents to PDF and upload them to their tax preparer. In addition, clients can take a picture of their document and upload it through their Secure File Pro client portal account. Maximum file size in a single upload is 500 MB. Audio and video files cannot be uploaded.

Is there a fee for this service? This is a 100% free service provided by us to our valued clients.
How do I create a Client Portal Account? Send us an email and we will create an account for you. Once your account has been created, you will receive an email with a link and instructions to set up your log in information.
What if I forget my username or password? The SecureFilePro™ sign-in screen includes a link to help with lost usernames and/or passwords. If you have any problems, you can always contact our office and we will reset your password.
Does my Client Portal include Cloud Storage? SecureFilePro™ is a Secure File Exchange service. Cloud storage is not included at this time. It was designed for the purpose of exchanging files between a tax office and their clients in a secure environment. Storage space is limited, and files are set to expire within 14 days. At that time, they are deleted. For that reason, you should always retain copies of any files you send to us, and promptly download any files we upload for you.
Is this only available during tax season? SecureFilePro™ is a year-round service that we provide our clients. You will be able to send us any document you would like us to review, throughout the year. Anytime you send us a document we will automatically be notified.
Can I securely send my documents without a Client Portal Account? SecureFilePro™ offers a Guest Exchange feature that can be used without setting up account information or a password. It includes uploading, downloading, and messaging functions. We will provide you a link to our web-based application with instructions. This is perfect for securely sending any documents you forgot to bring to your tax appointment.
Can I send my documents by email, text, or Facebook Messenger? We cannot accept documents by email, text, or Facebook Messenger. These methods were not developed with security in mind and should not be used to share confidential information containing social security numbers and other personal information. SecureFilePro™ is the most secure and convenient way of delivering those sensitive documents to us.
