COVID UPDATE…As we move into tax season, we want you to know our primary focus is the health and safety of our staff, clients, and community. Our office will remain open to assist you with your tax preparation needs in 2021. Unfortunately, we will not be able to offer any services while you wait. Due to COVID-19 precautions, all appointments will be scheduled as a drop off, and no walk-in guests will be permitted until further notice. We continue to conduct business via telework operations, providing the interview and review portion of our service primarily through phone, email, and Zoom.
How can I get my taxes done during the Coronavirus pandemic? During the pandemic, we are not offering face-to-face tax preparation. We will remain open if permitted by Pennsylvania law and continue to offer limited contact tax preparation with our streamlined drop off service, as well as contactless Virtual Tax Preparation Services.
Where can I find someone that prepares taxes for free for senior citizens? Due to COVID-19 many places offering FREE tax preparation will remain unavailable. The tax preparers at C2 Tax & Payroll Associates can prepare tax returns for Senior Citizens for a fee. This service will include federal, state, local, and PA Property Tax / Renter’s Rebate. All returns are prepared at our office as a drop off. Call to inquire about tax preparation fees.
What are you doing to slow the spread of COVID-19 in your office?
We are limiting our clients to our waiting room, which is stocked with masks and hand sanitizer.
Only one person is admitted to our waiting room at a time.
Our waiting room is sprayed with disinfectant between clients.
Drop-offs and pick-ups are by appointment only and are less than 15 minutes in duration.
We will practice social distancing whenever possible.
We wear a mask whenever you are in our office – no exceptions.
Will I be required to wear a mask? You will be required to wear a mask covering both your nose and mouth to enter our office. Once inside our office it should not be removed. We will also wear one while you are there. If you forget your mask, we will be happy to provide you with one.
Will I be required to wear a mask if I have a health issue? Unfortunately, the same health issue that makes it difficult to wear a mask also puts you at a higher risk of contracting COVID-19. For that reason, we would encourage you to use our Client Portal. If you would prefer to come to our office, we can make special arrangements to reduce your risk.
Can I come to the office if I tested positive for COVID-19 but am asymptomatic? If you have tested positive and have not experienced any symptoms, you may still spread the illness to others. For that reason, you may not come to the office until cleared by your physician. Please consider the use of our portal if you or another member of your household has been under the weather recently.
