Did you receive an email from your tax preparer that requires a password to open an attachment?

A password has been created for you. When prompted for your password, enter the first 4 letters of your last name, followed by the last 5 digits of your Social Security Number.

• Your password is all lowercase letters. Make sure “caps lock” is turned off.
• Your password doesn’t include any spaces, characters, or capital letters.
• If you are filing a joint tax return, your password is based on the person who appears first on the tax return (primary taxpayer’s information).
